MAP POINTZ is the official 90s Southern California subculture digital archive documenting Latino youth in the era’s underground party crew scene. Created by Los Angeles-based artist Guadalupe Rosales, MAP POINTZ deconstructs and reframes marginalized histories, offering platforms for self-representation.

We’re excited to bring you Grand Park’s Easy Mornings, a digital one-hour weekly program that highlights “Park Life.” While many have come to Grand Park for big events, Grand Park is also a vibrant green space that can be enjoyed year-round (safely, with social distancing of course!).
Grand Park’s Easy Mornings will feature talks, workshops, performances, Park tours, and art activities that highlight and accentuate features of the Park. So grab your cereal, coffee or tea, tune into Grand Park’s YouTube channel and ease into your weekend with Grand Park (you can even stay in your PJs!)
Each episode of Grand Park’s Easy Mornings will feature: morning meditations with Grand Park yoga instructor Courtney Seiberling; coloring workshops with GURL Museum Day® and nature photography tips from Las Fotos Project; food truck demos with participating food trucks from Grand Park’s Lunch à la Park program; and performances or conversations with different artists and community members, ranging from landscape professionals to musicians, and focusing on their relationships with Grand Park.
Evoking the serenity of a casual stroll through the park, Grand Park’s Easy Mornings intends to show ways to enjoy outdoor spaces in their own neighborhoods. The program was filmed on location in Grand Park, following all L.A. County health protocols applicable to film production.
We look forward to easy mornings with you! Saturdays from 10am-11am (SEP 12, 19, 26 + OCT 3) on Grand Park’s YouTube and Facebook channels. This event is suitable for all ages, so let the kiddos join too!
