Having rocked parties, been featured mixer on the Michael Baisden Show, spinning for the NFL Players Association, and toured nationally with EA Sports and the NBA, Kaleem has impressed crowds and poised himself for worldwide recognition.

A resident Deejay around Los Angeles for 2 decades, JUN has deejayed consistently at such spots as The Standard Hotels, Cinespia, Project Butterfly, Amoeba Records and the Avalon Hotel. The music he plays is a mixture of all sounds new and old mixed with diversity and knowledge from downtempo dubby grooves to upbeat deep cosmic disco riddims influenced by funk, house and hip-hop.

What put Tony Powell on the map as one of L.A.’s most sought after DJ’s was his highly successful, 8 year, residency at the “The Men’s Room” in Hollywood, which included Gospel, Jazz and Latin percussion style House Music. He has shared the decks with such heavy hitters such as Marques Wyatt, Mr. Frankie Knuckles, David Harness, Doc Martin & Groove Junkies.

Whether he’s hosting Morning Becomes Eclectic or Metropolis on KCRW, or DJing to a sea of people at Coachella, Jason Bentley builds an immersive musical narrative for audiences, weaving together past, present, and future sounds. It’s something the Los Angeles native began doing at the onset of his career at KCRW in 1992 with a nighttime air shift, and his knack for introducing the world to tomorrow’s superstars.
